WHAT IS IT?
George Washington and Abraham Lincoln 2008: The Great Debate is a chance of a lifetime!

It's a scholarship for high school juniors (not a junior?)…a community outreach project…a road trip…a journey through time. It’s the best summer job out there. You'll get paid to learn about our country and travel across it. At the end, you'll have a chance to win a $150,000 scholarship.

All you have to do is win this debate:

Who was the better President?
George Washington or Abraham Lincoln?

Everyone’s got an opinion on this one. Get selected as one of our 16 contestants, and you’ll have the chance to convince the world your opinion is right.

And, go to college for free.

Wait, it gets better:

16 contestants win $3,500 dollars, get to hang out with George and Abe as their summer job in 2008, plus get their own brand new laptop and video camera.

Get selected as one of the 16, and you will star in the online Now Debate This reality show Washington and Lincoln ’08: The Great Debate—in your own hometown.

Your summer job will be to create videos, blogs and community outreach, all about George and Abe.
