Short Stories For Kids: Teach Your Children Through Storytelling
An exciting new method of character building through storytelling has been introduced. This method has resulted in a creative new strategy for teaching integrity and other positive moral values through the introduction of several fascinating new short stories for kids. These stories teach strong Biblical values. Each of the primary characters present in the stories are children or young people who learn powerful life lessons about behavior, beliefs, and kindness toward others.
These character stories teach timeless values in a fresh, insightful manner that is appealing to today’s youth and children. As society changes, a number of elements in contemporary society and culture evolve as well. Examples of this include new catchwords or phrases, stories that gain or lose popularity, and clothes that go in and out of fashion.
Too often, stories from past decades no longer appeal to children. They seem foreign and hopelessly outdated, usually because of words or phrases that are no longer used, or because of pictures that contain hopelessly outdated fashion apparel. Children find it hard to relate to stories about adults or other children that seem to have no connection with the present. They often turn away and ignore or discount these messages as no longer being relevant to their lives.
These short character stories for kids have been designed especially to bridge the “generation gap” between today’s children and the parables written by Biblical writers. Furthermore, they are written in today’s language, and feature children in modern clothing who go to school, play games, and live in homes very similar to those of the kids for whom they were written.
Easily downloaded to a home or personal computer, many of these short stories for kids have been offered free of charge. Some examples of the valuable free literature available include the biographies of Susanna Wesley and George Muller. Once again, the lives of these famous people are recounted in a format that is enjoyable and interesting to kids.
Some fictional stories can also be downloaded free. A number of other tales have also been written for the site. Downloaded versions of these can be purchased for only a small price directly from the website using a credit card. Eventually, the site’s creators plan to allow any story to be downloaded without cost.
This would allow any child whose parents approve to have access to the valuable information they contain. If you are a parent, now is the perfect time to begin to share Biblical values with their children in a fresh, captivating way.
